Moto Tag

So a few things on this. The app isn't terrible. It's used to update the tags and can also use it for the basic find my device features. That being said, it would be nice not to have an extra app since these are supposed to function as Find My Device hardware. Also, having to wait for gated app rollouts to be able to update your tags with the latest features, just doesn't feel good. The UWB update has been touted, but you cannot get it unless you have the latest app version. Allow opt in.

Now that they have UWB support and fixed the battery reporting issues I can finally recommend these. I'm pretty annoyed that nearly 2 weeks into the UWB update I still had to side load the app because it wasn't rolled out to me. Only been waiting for this since last August. But, as far as the trackers go they do what they say they do. That, with the robust accessory market make them desirable.

It worked perfectly for a while on my Pixel 7, but recently I cannot find my phone by double clicking the tag. I can only ring the tag from the app. I tried resetting it and even used a brand new tag to no avail. It could be due to the last firmware update.
